Mens Fitness review of the Xdream

Men's Fitness says forget the Wii

Given that distance cycling in the UAE is problematic and exercise bikes in gyms can get dull, the X-Dream could be the future of gym equipment. Designers workedwith games programmers who made Virtua Tennis and TOCA Race Driver to create a lifelike real bike simulation with gears, brakes and fully interactive responses. You race against five computer riders, or connect X-Dream bikes, to race other people and the setting respond to the computer generated terrain. In order to open up the 20 unique trail rides you need to win the previous race, with each ride becomes more difficult and duration increasing. And with 400 different workout programs across different landscapes things are kept new and interesting. Forget the Nintendo Wii, this is the best symbiosis of gaming and getting fit on the market.
